well, IF the local homeowners were able to shut down the track, I was getting a lawyer to shut down the NJ Turnpike because of the noise. I was also thinking of shutting down Liberty (Newark) International Airport because the planes fly over my house

There is NO noise where I am at here in New Hampshire. There is so much flucking snow it absorbs ALL the noise, like a giant flucking WHITE sound barrier…

Congrats...

But there is a noise ordinance in Epping NH...New England Dragway has adopted a "good neighbor policy" to avoid restrictions from the town. Race cars must run "mufflers" and the track closes more or less at 10 pm.

I am glad also. I know there were alot of Etown racers looking at this. We lost our race track ( Connecticut Int Dragway) and I would hate to lose another local track.
Another item I have been following is the Exhaust law in Mass. I am a New Englander and like many of you drive my truck on the street. Someone from mass may want to chime in, but I have read about a law their trying to pass in Mass that would allow a Police officer to deem your exhaust louder than stock, and therefore give you a summons. I am not completely sure if this is all it contains, but I know I dont want to have any troubles registering a vehicle due to noise that they consider louder than stock.

E-Town is repaving this winter too.

NJ is also home to some pretty cheap gas.

Not compared to Texas, but hey, we don't actually drill much here, just refine it.

i am a MA guy and i have hear this too. What I have heard is that the cops will be equipped with a meter of some sort to measure th DB level of your exhaust. I have not heard that it can't be louder than stock though, all i have heard is that there is a limit to what it can be(probably not to far off from stock). I don;t think they have started doing this to cars and trucks yet, but i have heard of police officals doing it to motorcycles and stree bikes.

You were supposed to use MEDICAL GRADE Nitrous for the Wizard Ronbo Ruffie, or something.

Last summer I paid more for gas in Texas than I did in NJ. I could not quite figure that one out. NJ pumps gas for you...by law...LMAO. Texas we pump our own or we don't get any.

So how do gas stations pay union knuckle heads to stand around and pump gas in NJ, while charging less. I kind of figured it was some sort of liberal social program designed to redistribute wealth. There has to be Government help for the gas stations...how else could they afford such a dip ***** law?

I wonder if any of those people who bitch about the noise would be interested in selling their house cheap. I wouldnt mind living that close to a dragstrip.
