What Crank Would You Use?

Lets just pretend my dad owns a '04 Lightning that is modded to the max...and still using a stock block (for now). He's making a crazy amount of power, but that's what all the bolt ons and 15 pounds of boost running through a KB Supercharger will do. If he were planning to blow it up and build a shortblock what kind of crank would you recommend? Is the crank used in a '99 stronger than one in a '04? Or how about a Navigator crank? Any opinions would help. Thanks guys

Stock cranks have seen upwards of 800 RW HP.

Also the Navigator crank is the same crank we use in our lightnings.

We used to build the Navigator engine in my plant.

A stroker, like most of the fast trucks probably have.

Google says BAUXITE is what we use to make aluminum ore.

So I'd say the 5.4 block used for the Ford GT.

HI!... In bone stock trim the 5.4 forged steel crank can handle 900- 1000 flywheel H.P. Prep it properly and it can handle up to 1500 flywheel H.P but thats about it's limit. It's a very strong crank. FORD actually did something right on these trucks. Here's a pic a a forged steel crank out of a 5.4.

I believe what Sal broke was a cast crank at 1000 ft lbs of torque.
