More oil in the intercooler / intake?

Ok this is pissing me off...

At 18k miles I removed my blower and to install some plugs and clean out the intercooler. I installed the drilled dime in the upper hose and installed the EV98B pcv valve. I am still getting oil in the intercooler this is what it looks like at 31K miles. What else can I do to stop this?

Using just 2 filters that you can purchase from any auto parts store, a package of HELP! plugs and stock tubing and stock PCV valves, you can vent the block to atmosphere and not worry about unaccounted-for air entering the intake.

Bob,

Check out this thread for the particulars for the proper install of the breathers:

You've got to make sure that the 3 point of oil entry are capped - the thread goes through it all.

BTW - the setups gonna be awesome!

Herb

You just said how the oil is getting in there.... "drilled dime" I have mine capped off, and no oil was in the intake last I checked. I bet if you put an undrilled dime in it would fix it

would it be cheaper to use one filter and just get longer length hose and just get a T fitting so u can plug both sides of the crank case and only use one filter instead of buying2. cause the hosing is cheaper then the filters

L&S Oil Seperator

The dime mod did very little for oil injestion on my truck. Now, I'm running the L&S Oil Seperator. But, I haven't had the supercharger off, to see how well the seperator is working.

wow, that is interesting........I am a newbie with the L but when I got my truck dyno a few weeks ago, the shop told me to install a oil catcher. I did ordered a one of those air compressor like glass thing but after seeing and hearing about all them oil still gets into the throttle body and intake parts, I was thinking about intalling this oil catcher to decrease the changes of oil getting in there too.

I think I read somewhere if you add them air breather on our L, we have to tune and dyno our L's again, is this true?
