I sent via FedEx. I don't recall the cost breakdown, off-hand, but that total cost was a little over $750, including service, shipping there and back, etc. That was also when the dollar was lower, so it shouldn't be so bad, now.

I did it during the wintertime, so I was already without the L, anyway, but it was about 2.5 weeks. I pulled the blower on a Sunday, shipped on Monday. It was received later in the week. Came back early the 3rd week.

It took an extra day in customs, because they couldn't understand that the part came out of my truck, was sent there for "repair" and was now coming back...

Went back on the following weekend, real easy... I was happy with the service, and the results

Seems like we may be able to get a handful of trucks together, for a day at the track

Me and my Lighting are moving to the big TO in September, I'd love to meet up with other owners to shoot the sh*t or make a few passes down the 1320'. I'd really like to get into Solo I or Solo II racing as well, I picked up a few brochures from Toronto Motorsport I believe at the Auto Show when I was there last. Got to see the beautiful Lightning concept there as well, very upsetting that it won't be built

Cool! I used to live at Mavis and Queensway....now I went a bit more north in Brampton and up here, I'm overrun with Hemi's.....unfortunately for them, they all still ride behind me.

dont count the new Lightning out just yet, SVT is un veiling (sp?) the new line up on march 22 i belive, i got the letter from SVTOA, so it should be interesting

I am from Orleans to be specific. So I guess the east side of Ottawa. I have some in=laws that are from Carleton place. Its about 50 minutes away from here.

 

I'm heading to Shannonville on June 17 for my first test and tune night.. Anyone else heading up there or would be interested in going.
