4 Lber Installed
A friend of mine and I installed the 4 lber and the line mod valve today, I had installed the AF 1 intake and my 4 program chip 2 days before but I was driving around on the stock program for safety.
So upon completion of the pulley and line mod valve I switched to my safest program and took it out for a ride. I took it easy for about the first 5 miles and then tried a few 1/2 throttle move offs. I can definitely feel a huge difference in the throttle response and power
The eaton screams so loud and there is alot of wheel spin at 1/2 throttle. I have not gone full throttle because I still have in the stock plugs with the stock gap.
I am a bit worried though, because if I am at a stand still and depress the go pedal 1/2 way I get a hesitation and it feels like it wants to die but then takes of like a bat out of hell. Could this probably be caused by the stock plugs not being able to cope with the increased boost? I also have a bit of rough idle could that be plugs too?
I have my IT20"s and will get them installed on Monday. I hope that clears up the problem.
But let me know what you guys think aboout the hesitation and rough Idle.

I'm not sure if the plugs would cause the hesitation, someone else could chime in on that.
Alot of us have the rough idle. The denso's seemed to clear up most of those problems though. Good selection, the IT20s are what I went with.
I havent checked my plugs in way over a year, its probably time to do that soon....

I just installed a new 4# last weekend with NGK TR6 and my idle is awesome. I am waiting to install my new tunes but am runing the pulley tune on the predator for now (only three days) The truck runs like a bat out of hell, but I will put on the new tunes and go from there. I also installed a CAI from LFP and modified it myself. The foam fender induction sucks!!
Hey guys, I found out what the problem is. We had pulled off an end that connects to a sensor at the front of the engine an did not replace it. It is MUCH better now. Idles like a dream, and runs like crazy. I now have another problem though
How to get traction
Man I love this 4lber and the tune from Mike Troyer is spot on.

Get a set of traction bars and slicks. Get the 58" bars if you can afford them or the Lakewoods if you are on a budget. Both work great for our trucks and many many people on here run either of them. Do a search and you can find many posts on this subject.
