New Toyo Proxes S/T this morning to replace the somewhat worn

First ride was impressive. I think there a keeper.

I was hoping because they were an all season they would be
a bit better for general use.
The F1's didn't last very long at all.

Some sweet tread on them huh? Sorry to tell yah pal but any tire will break loose. Ive unfortunetly had the pleasure of driving through a snow storm, held very well. Rain, never hydroplaned. Ummm and tread life is very good. Been a year now and there still pretty meaty .... just check the pressure regularly.

Although turns did feel a lot better in the F1s, Im thinking the Toyos are an all around better tired for this truck.

Just my 2c

I think they are better for rain than the F1's. I can easily overpower them on dry road, the F1's were better for this.

I run the Proxes on my L & work truck also ('99 F-150) and they got me through the latest round of SoCal rains that we had with no problem. I like 'em.

I totaled my L with proxes i nthe rain, 1/2 my fault and 1/2 racoons fault. But I don't think you could really do much about it with any different tires.

its a little bit easier to break loose because the compund it harder than the F1's but they will last a lot longer
get a little heat in them and they hook pretty good

TOYO's

I guess it all depends on how hard you push them. The right situation I think will make the best of them break loose.
I'm a pretty conservative driver but do like to have some fun.
Maybe they will suit my use well. Sure nice to have them last a
while.
Also with the "L" being discontinued for now I would hate to trash it.
