Question which VB shifts harder?!?

I've read that the FTVB shifts harder than LFP, and Ive also heard that the LFP one shifts harder than the FTVB.

All else aside, which one shifts harder?

Factory Tech makes incredible products, plus GREGG's service is second to NONE! The normal version is the "C" model.

I chirp 3rd no matter how fast or slow I'm driving. Seriously, idling 2nd will chirp.

NOW: Factory Tech also makes a RACE ONLY version of his Valve body. I think you have to talk him into making you one. I think it is the "CR" model.

There is NOTHING that shifts harder than the race version of the factory tech valve body

Anyone have the 2CR ftvb? I had the 2C in my first tranny and it wasn't as firm as I had hoped. I guess everyones tolerances are different when it comes to shift firmness.

I have the 2CR and it is like an air shifter on a bike it is just a BAM and the next gear is there. I know that I didn't remove any clutches but you would think I did. If the rpm's are about 1000 it won't chirp 2nd but above that and there is no shifting gears without hearing it.

Granted if I had some kind of traction bars it would chirp even at idle. You can still get a chirp at 80 and I don't have a chip. So torque reduction is still on.

I love it wouldn't change it for anythign

I don't know that it shifts harder but on my lightning it firmed up the shifts as it is supposed to do.

I'm thinking about getting one but it sounds dangerous (ESAPECIALLY in the rain) if my tires are going to be chirping/spinning all the time. Maybe I'm totally wrong I just don't want to end up driving like a grandma when it's raining.

my ftvb chirps the tires every once and a wile. It doesnt seem very agressive but that might be because the torque reduction is still on in my tune. Its not bad driving in the rain you get use to it.

You can dive it normal in the rain!! If you going 1/2 throttle or higher from a stop light in the rain you crazy to beging with.
