hi, I bought a truck with missing centercaps for 20" 01 style replicas.. I got new centercaps in and they fit but do not SNAP in.

I tried removing the star ring, etc. The tabs on them are just to short to grab behind the metal tabs of the wheel. They come up short like about 1/4".

People say they are for 18" wheels, but the previous owner tried them already and ordered 20" ones and even had to wait a long time because the 20" caps were backordered.

Can someone with knowledge on these help me please!!!!

smoked but they fogged up alot so they got thrown away by the previous owner.
