Anyone get this after the C&L install?

Didn't take a photo of what I cut out. What I did, was that I noted on top of the C&L there was a red streak of paint (my L is red) from the hood inner bar - and I could see a bit of a "line" where the C & L was rubbing on the hood inner reinforcement bar - so I took 5/8 drill bit and drilled a couple of holes along the "line" in the hood reinforcement inner bar - and elongated them to where I now have a "slot" about 1 & 1/2 inches long and about 5/8" wide. As soon as I did that - all the "humming" in the cab went away.
