Rim Ideas for Silver Lightning

Guys,

I need some ideas for rims, either 18" or 20" for the silver Lightning I just bought a couple of days ago.

I'm having lightning bolts airbrushed on it, if that makes any difference.

Please post pictures if you've got any.

Thanks!
Tony

Any idea what tires I should run for a 600HP+ truck for high speed highway runs and a little daily street driving with the KMC Thunders?

I was thinking of the Pirelli tires but I'm not too sure.

The backspacing on STOCK 18" wheels is 5 5/8 inches I believe.
If one were to get 10 x 20 wheels would a backspacing of
5.5 inches be OK ? That would give an offset that gives you a bit of a deep dish effect. Would the wheels/tires stick out too far to the outside of the truck?

Offset = BS - TW
___
2

I think this formular works but specs on wheels are very confusing
I saw where the stock offset is 12mm positive but my calulations
are different.

Any tips appreciated.

Did you use the same size tire ? Please advise !!!

YOUR offset = BS - (TW/2)

so

= 6.5 - (10/2)

6.5 - 5 = 1.5 positive offset on your wheels

stock offset is 12mm or about 1/2 inch according to a spec sheet I saw. This spec sheet seems incorrect.
Because...When I actually measured and calculated it was

stock offset = 5 5/8 (backspacing) - (9 4/8 / 2 ) (Total wheel/2)

or 5 5/8 - 4 6/8

offset = 7/8 or about an inch positive on a stock wheel

it seems your offset is abit "more" positive (5/8 inch more) than stock
The wheel is 1/2 inch wider..calls for maybe a 2/8 inch more positive than stock.

see it is confusing to me :^) But the real cals seem more inline with your wheels than the spec sheet that I got from a wheel company.

Thanks for any insite but the wheels look GREAT !
