He said to get there power Ford took a outdated truck and motor and added a supercharger, and Dodge did it all on motor.At this point I was getting heated, and I said the Dodge's body style was older than the Lightning and with a $50,000 price compared to the L's price, you would be crazy to buy there truck.I told them with my few boltons I could spank there SRT. Then they came back with what they all say " I can put on some boltons to" I could see I was out numbered and getting nowere so before it got any worse I left. And then in front of them and all the customers I left 2 long black marks and a big cloud of smoke to remember me by.

To Hi"0"silver----I hate it when these dumbasses say that ford just supercharges everything to get there power! Well, HELLO! they have a ****ing v-10 which is like 3 more liters of displacement then the lightning's engine....more displacement or superchargers.....they both make their power........they can't say we "cheat" by just supercharging our vehicles when then have to put a ****ing 8 liter motor in it just to get that kinda power plus they call that dodge a truck...****.....it cant even haul anything but a rich guy that can afford to drive one......when the lightning and haul a big boat down to the lake and then drive to the drag strip and spank the srt 10...i dont care what they say...i still believe the lightning is the king.... the only thing that dodge has ford beat on is top speed by 7 mph on genius book .... who will pay an extra 20 grand for and extra 7 mph, cant haul nuttin like a truck SHOULD be able to do and is still slower than the lightning in the 1/4 mile.......My brothers stock 2000 L is in the 13's bone stock so i think magazines better get their stats fixed RIGHT! ONe more point to be made, the lightning only has 50 less torque than dodge and torque is the power that acutally matters since its the twisting force that actually moves you, even though the L has 50 less torque, its lighter and more aerodynamic which can make up for that 50 and can make a BIG difference....Also...for a dodge to even think about beating a L.....that driver better be a pro with that stick shift

To Kobrakai-----I could prolly tell you why panzies like that wont race.... its simply because they are chicken.....Its just like my brothers situation last summer, In effingham, IL, Mid america(some of you may know what im talking about ) has their annual vette fest and me, my brother, and his friend with my brother's L and also his friend's 10 sec L always go out to pick on some vettes.....for the thousands of vettes that are there to pick on.....VERY few are balsy enough to race......In my theroy.....I believe that if they have the slightest clue that they may be beaten....they will chicken out...again, thats just my opinion....its hard telling about people that think there better than everyone else but when it comes to actually prove it for sure then they just ***** out

I have no attitude problem. Just because my truck has mods, that does not automatically mean I street race. I race at the track... that's it.
So I'm not 'trying' to make people think that with the mods I have, I don't race on the street... I don't have to 'try' to make people think anything. Believe whatever the f'k you guys want.

I don't understand how anyone in this forum could sit at a red light getting reved at by an srt-10 and not race it especially those of us with mods
