KB pulley bolt problems

Anyone had trouble getting the KB pulley bolt out? We tried the holder tool, and a cheater bar, but that didn't work. Could an impact be used?

You might want to hold off on the impact....your rotor drive gears will like you for that

Personally I went though several different hex drives before I found one that fit the bolt perfectly and I always torqued the bolt to 80 ft lbs and never used any lube on it. I couldn't find any information in the KB intructions saying I had to lube it so I didn't.
I also never had a problem getting the bolt on and off.
Did you put anything on it like loctite ??

I've never had it off; it is the one installed from KB. It is a standard thread correct? So, looking at you turn it counter clockwise to take it off?

Yes it's standard. I've never had a problem and have also never lubed it. I change pulleys at least once a month though.
