Has anyone ever smoothed and painted the ugly plastic trim around the rear window of the truck ?? I'm thinking of ordering some smoothed side steps and the smoothed pieces for the rear bumper.....but I think if I do, then the trim would just stick out that much more.

I'm tryin to do some things to give my truck a smoothed out look...
Also if you have done it, or seen it done please post pics.

thanks that thread had some good info....the job def looks killer when completed, but that sux that you have to remove the whole window to get the trim painted......
