Bbk Twin Blade T/b
I got one.
I tried Accufab, and it idled too high and RPM's hung up around 1300 for a few seconds after taking my foot off the gas pedal. No matter what adjustments I made, the Accufab just didn't work out.
Got the BBK, and I've been very happy with it. Dual 65mm bores, stocj is dual 57mm. There is even a guy who tested the Accufab against the BBK on a truck making over 450 RWHP and the BBK beat out the Accufab. Plus, the BBK is less money.

I think someone recently posted a lament about BBK not being willing to replace a throttle cam that broke on one of their throttle bodies. It is a question you may want to ask before you buy one. I searched, but was unable to find the thread.
I'm one of those scabs that bought an Accuflab and have no complaints. The first day it stuck and high idled, however after a couple hours of usage it settled in and is predictable and stable as the stock choker.

BTW, I own the Ford Racing SVO single blade TB so no bias on my part between the Accufab or BBK.

Just as an FYI, no throttle body is going to set the world on fire performance wise. What I got out of the deal was the same as most- a bit more intake noise and throttle response, maybe a few more hp. I've had an Accufab for 2 years with zero issues-the key is the setup, I installed mine and then shaun at JDM dailed it in. In my opinion it helps out on a more modified vehicle. Good luck, Todd

It was 2lbs more with the stock plenum, and 3lbs more with the C&L plenum. With the C&L the BBK made almost 6 more HP than the Accufab. That's 6 more HP over and above whatever increase the Accufab made over the stock TB.
Look at the whole picture, or argue for the sake of argument?
To me, it's a no brainer.
Here are the numbers you are talking about from SVT Performance. It would be nice to see the actual dyno sheet to see the spread across the RPM range.
Stock plenum....accufab 456.4rwhp/ 551lbtq
CL upper.....accufab 468.9rwhp/ 565lbtqTq
stock plenum....BBK 459.2 rwhp/ 549 lbtq
CL Upper.....BBK 474.4/562.3 lbtq
The biggest benefit of a single blade is the throttle response increase during daily driving. At say an 1/8th throttle the single blade lets more air into the intake than twin blades. This means less pedal to cruise at 80 mph also.
I'm glad you like your BBK TB but people that install TB's looking to big HP increases are barking up the wrong tree.
