8lb lower pulley, Predator Tune, Remove the air filter. That should be a good start. Also, run strictly 85 Octane.

Skip all the bull*****, Get a Kenne Bell supercharger.

Best mod I got!. It was my fourth mod, and I regret not doing it first. cost was 3000.00 and a tune 400.00. Save your pennies, it added 116hp over stock. That is with a catback and AFE intake.

Good luck with the new purchase and I hope to talk with you on Sat. at Brandenton.

Shackles first because our trucks look like they have a broomstick shoved up their tailpipe from the factory.

FTVB w/ 4x4 deep tranny pan is a MUST. Holy crap does the truck shift better with one.

4 pounder w/ Chip

Cut a hole in the bottom of your stock airbox, it WILL help.
If you have the extra cash, get a nice cold-air kit.

Gotta keep us Florida guys on the quick side.

ummm.... I would stick with only 93 octane. You may get detonation if you use anything else.

Lower Pulley, 6ld or 4lb, FTVB (R model, 20 bucks more and well worth it), and a chip. Personally I'd go with a chip that is dyno tuned so all your sh*^ is right. I'll PM ya my phone number and set you up with some local L bro's and a local dyno shop that knows it's ****.

Your PM is off or something, get it turned on or go over to f l a s v t and drop me a line, same handle.

Phil

R or C-R, whatever you want to call it. It's around 20 bucks more, they only had one in stock when I got mine last year. I THINK it hits a bit harder than the others, couldn't really tell you the difference, if there is one.

Hey 1fst54, where in Bradenton and when? I want to go if someone would fill me in. I got my truck today and am amazed at its beauty and power. I would love to see some more Ls, especially hooked up Ls.

Thanks Sean

isn't an ftvb basicly called a shift kit or am i thinking of somthing else? My brother had a 95 trans am and put a b&m shift kit on it and it was suppose to help it shift better and firmer and he just hooked up a few wires to his computer and mounted it .... is this ftvb you guys are talking about the same thing or is it more complex? Also, to 1fst54---isn't that KB and your other mods hard on your stock motor or can it take that? Also, how much are a pair of rear shackles.... is it just basicly a lowering kit?
To Bootbox....does a cold air kit make the eaton whine more?
To BlueSVT....what do you mean by an air box? a whole aftermarket cold air kit or just the filter with the box surrouding...also how do you gain more boost from that?
sorry for all of the questions to you all i am just really curious and alway like to learn more tips
your responses would be greatly appreciated!
thanks again guys!

the term "shift kit" is a registered trademark of another company and every time I use it a team of lawyers come in and pound bamboo shoots into my pinky toenails, so I don't.

An electronic modifier for shift tuning is a very basd idea for the 4R100, a good explanation of why is posted here

http://www.nhtoc.com/forum/showthrea...5&pagenumber=1

you have to read a ways down, the thread started as a discussion of converters and someone quoted it from somewhere else but the whole thread is a good read. The information about valve bodies is actually quoted from another site that you'll have to ask about over there, you can't mention the original site on this one, it's along story that I've managed not to get dragged into for 3 years and hope to make it 4.

Hope this helps,

G

Get a chip(and a good tune), a 4lber, an intake, and change your plugs out, that should keep you happy for a while...
