What boost with this pulley combo?

I have a reason I can't swap the crank pulley so I want to know how much boost is possible with the stock lower and either a 2.7 or 2.8 upper if I get a new belt tensioner and use a gripper pulley to reduce slip? Right now my stock pullied truck is making 9.5 lbs.

Also one last thing, anyone ever tried to bead blast a pulley to put a rougher finish on it for better belt grip?

P.S. I know its stupid to do just an upper but my options at this point are slim, try to understand, THANKS!

If you can't change the lower... I'd suggest a ported blower also.

BTW: Making the pulley rougher is the opposite of what you want to do. You want to increase the contacted area. Not decrease it. The stock smooth belt is actually the one your wanting.

Ok, so with e-fans, tb, CAI, Bassani CB, and then the ported blower w/ a 2.7 upper how much hp and torque could I make with a good tune(Swanson)?

I run a 2.8 upper stock lower and with belt slipping I run 14#

16 with out belt slip.

I'm also running a 2.75 upper & stock lower on a Kenne Bell and my max boost
is 17.5 lbs. This was with JLP himself at the helm on his dyno, but no one
believed me when I posted it.

I have been running a 2.7 upper with stock lower from the begining and get about 11# of boost and belt slippage has not been an issue even with the stock pully set up. But, I don't race either or I'm sure it probably might.
