Autometer F/P gauge ?
Autometer F/P gauge ?
Hey guys,
I just finished installing the F/P gauge on Sun.
When i first started the truck up it went to 30psi and stayed there at idle which is normal.
Checked for leaks and saw none. Went for a cruise but no WOT runs. Pressure stayed at 30PSI.
Shut off the truck and the gauge stays at 30PSI.
I unplugged it from the sender and it still says 30PSI with engine running.
This morning, i took it for some WOT runs on the way to work. It still didnt move one bit.
Before i return it, does this seem normal to anyone?
Im pretty sure its screwed up, i guess its time to call RPM outlet.

Update,
Spoke to Autometer again and they recommended taking off the sender from the fuel line and turning on the ignition to see if it goes to zero with the sender plugged into the gauge.
Then to test the gauge they recommended using a compressor and setting it to about 40 psi and using a blow tip, stick it into the receiving end of the sender.
Im gonna try that tonight and see what happens.
