Would this be better than a flip chip?
Would this be better than a flip chip?
I'm trying to decide between a Predator and an SCT 4 pos. chip. There are great points to both but I think I may have started to lean Predator, tell me if I'm crazy.
I have a tiny WinXP pro PC I built for my last car and a 7" VGA touchscreen that runs it. I was thinking that with the Predator and it's data logging + ability to dump tunes to a PC, I'd have a pretty slick setup for fine tuning and uploading canned nitrous and cold weather tunes etc...
What do you think?
I know it's a slower method of changing tunes than flipping a switch is, but I can data log far cheaper than with the SCT and a Raptor this way, and I feel like that's a badass thing to have on the fly access to.

If i had the PC setup like you do id buy the sct pro racer. Then you can use the raptor dataloger which i hear is better that the predator. Then you can change your own tunes. Heck you could pull over pull the chip and redo a part of your programing and then try again.
