Please note that the quantity of pistons on a caliper has no direct meaning to its function or value. Most offten its price however.
What matters is that the number of pistons is used to evenly distribute the pressure on the plate of the pad. A common single piston tends to make a banana out of a pad, a twin pot adds equal pressure to it, a six pot spreads the load even more.
The 'load' may or may not be the same too. The addition of pistons does not mean more 'stopping power'.
The real benefit of ANY properly built kit is improvement in thermal management. Any vehicle today stops well the first time. But do it over and over....well, we know the result.
