One reason I went with the Lightninng was the cheaper insurance. My mom is a State Farm agent and I ran 5 or 6 cars through her system, all sports cars.

I now pay 800/yr, or 400 each 6 months and I am 24 with 3 speeding tickets and a failure to obey a traffic signal.

I have no speeding tickets(knock on wood). On a hunting trip up in Canada I had it up to 135MPH. Some car challanged me and I made him pull over and let me pass I think he ran out of topend or aggies.

I've found about the best I'm sure. The circumstances are not "normal" but I'm paying less than $150 a year. (storage ins most of the time)

Pretty much the highest rate in Europe is good old Naples, Italy. I pay $1900 a year, with $1000 deductable. My truck is stored until I return from Afghanistan, and you know what I pay now? $1900! Ah, the price of love...
