Has anyone received they 2.3 blower yet or contacted them lately? What's the word?

 

I contacted dustin about a week ago to put my order in, the first orders should start shipping in a couple of weeks, can't wait

 

The word probably is, put in your order for a KB that is backlogged a couple of weeks, wait about 3-4 for it, and you will probably get it before the Whipple. I've heard March at the earliest for the Whipple shipments...just what I've heard and read, so don't take it for gospel. I bought a KB because I didn't want to wait for an unknown ship date.

 

I'm patient...I can wait for the Whipple...

 

UNKNOWN SHIP DATE?

The early ordered whipples will ship feb 10th-14th the oders recieved later will ship the 21st. This will put the whipple way ahead in shipping compared to the kb. I don't know who your listening to.

This is an email I got from REM
"The Whipples are not yet available, but we are pushing Whipple to have them
ready very shortly. We will be doing a group buy and have special pricing for
a "package" which will include injectors and fuel pumps.

If you'd like to get on that list, just email me back with your purchase
info, or order if off the website and you will be automatically qualified.

Price is not yet definate, but it should be about $3750.00 for all three
items.

Give them a call for shipping dates and to get on the order list.

 

KB was telling me in early January, we should have the shipment anyday now.....well that's more than a couple of weeks.

Bottom line is Autorotor and Lysholm are both behind on compressor orders to their vendors. Lysholm ( Whipple ) is behind mainly due to the production compressors for the Ford GT.

I have my order placed for the Whipple, if I have to wait - oh well, so do all the KB orders.

 

That's what I was told also, I expect mine to ship around the 21st, as I just placed my order a week ago.

 

This is not going to happen so you might as well relax.

 

Don't know when they're shipping, but I sure like the looks of the setup. Although, plug changes on the drivers side look to be a PITA!

 

Dustin told me yesterday when i inquiring about a replacement headunit for my 140 that they were really low on the 2.3. I wont speculate as to whether this is due to the new blowers going out or lysome not being able to deliver them. He only said that it would take a while if i needed to get new 2.3 headunit.
