I just did some changes to my L, included was a 2600 stall tq convertor. After the install I took it to the track to try it out and I felt it was shifting to high and was taking to long to shift. Well my tuner recomened for me to get a valve body and I also sent the chip back for a re-burn. Well I installed the valve body and the chip but the problem was still there. Took it to the track again and on my first run it seemed to have hit the rev-limiter. What I noticed was that when I WOT it , I had to back off on the trottle so it would shift if not it would rev-up alot and then shift. I talked to my tuner and he had set the WOT shift points at 5500 1-2 and 5400 3-4. If he left the shift points the same as before the tq convertor, is it needed to re-set them again? What else can cause this problem? Im scared of racing it like this it just revs up to much. I was thinking if I messed up something when I did the convertor install, but at normal driving it shifts fine.
