Noise when driving

I was out driving yesterday and when I let off the gas I could hear a noise coming from the fornt of the truck. It sounds like it is my u-joints. What noises do u-joints make when they are wearing out?

they will squeak and sqweel, you will have some vibrations when you are driving. the u-joints arnt at the front of the truck, you might be hearing your brakes? worn down?

I think that might be it(the brakes). I got under the truck and tried to twist the driveshaft, nothing happened. It only does it while I am braking or decelerating.
