Dude, the jagged edges from the broken plywood were HOT! Why would you want to change that out for some boxed aluminum bracket?

As a side, how's the gel battery working for you and is there any noticable benefit over a regular acid battery?

LOL...yeah the custom wood look got me alot of comments. I made that mod without any tools, at Lightningfest. The techs didn't like my wrag behind the battery mod, but the woody look passed... .

The Optima is the way to go if you put your battery through alot of discharges from track use.....it holds up much better than my stock one did.

dman....I bought it from a fellow on Ebay. I managed to get it for 105.00. I tried for a couple months. It get's way to expensive sometimes. The last couple have gone for more than 150 bucks. I wanted to pay under the 90 mark, but oh well...pay to play... .
I had to do something, FFW starts in 3 weeks and I know they would fail my wood sed to get it for 105.00. I tried for a couple months. It get's way to expensive sometimes. The last couple have gone for more than 150 bucks. I wanted to pay under the 90 mark, but oh well...pay to play... .
