Thumbs up

I cast my vote for Dynatech stainless steel long tube headers, cats and mid-pipes with a Bassani cat-back.

What he said; I have the dynatechs and couldn't be happier with every part. I went with a magnaflow catback, but woudl probably go with a bassani bx series catback if I had it to do over again.

I'm very pleased with my Kooks, not a bad install if you search for install tips/tools, plan on taking your time no matter which 1s you get. I've always heard the Dynatechs were an easier install, but don't know firsthand.

a local guy here (streetking) had put Kooks on his '02 L with no problems, tried the Dynatechs on his '04 and had fitment problems. Passenger side was a no go.

Dynatech

I just bought a set of Dynatech headers/mid pipes from RPM Outlet for $1043/shipped.

I removed the entire exhaust on my friends 04L and installed the Dynatechs and Bassani catback in 6 hours.

I did my the same to my truck the next day in 4 hours

Wish I had a lift, it would have been quicker

It took me a little longer doing mine, but we did a friends and it quickened up some. Right now I know of 4 L's in this area with Dynatechs; but I was the first so I think I swayed the purchases a little

There was just a post by Bob that had a long video clip of his dynatechs going out a bassani catback

Just looking at pics of each, it looks like Kooks are equal legnth and dynatechs are not. Does this make any difference power wise?

How did you get the Kooks to mate up with the Bassani cats? Did you cut down the Bassani pipes and re-flange them?
