well my truck is parked for the winter, and have only driven it for 15 mins after lowering it, it will be kept in the garage til april, so no damage is being done, how easy are the lakewoods to install? they look simple, is there any drilling required?

You definitly want to get 58" Torque Bars. The lakewoods are a cheaper way to go, But I just personally think on such a nice truck that you should get the best. Any brand will do the job, but I am a fan of LFP Torque Bars. The price was right, the part are top quality, and they will Powdercoat them for you in pretty much any color. All types of traction devices are out their to consider. They all work in different ways, so just do the research and dont forget how nice the Lightnings are-----get quality parts for it!!!

yes but with quality comes price, i dont use my truck hard and i dont take it to the track EVER, its simply a daily driver, thats all. I wish i had lots of money to throw at it but unfortunatly i dont, so im just looking for a cheap solution to correct the wheel hop if i ever do get on the throttle, so im leaning towards the lakewoods

For your application get the Lakewoods. Camcojb (Jody) is making well over 550 RWHP on a built motor and uses the Lakewoods with no problems. That's what I'm going to use when I start modding my L

On a side note, I lowered my L with 2" Belltech shackles and didn't have to mess with the shims. Now it's not as low as some would like but I like the stance. I find that on hard launches it squats and goes, whereas, before lowering it it would shudder and have a lot of wheel hop. So, I guess having a certain amount of pinion angle (other than the stock angle) is sometimes better for traction (at least for me).
