No removal necessary, just press molding on to front of grill slats.

Will someone post a pic of a WHITE L with it.

Just wondering if you guys do the verticle part of the grill, behind the main part too.

I don't have a white L pic, but I can tell you that you just put the chrome tape on the horizontal slats, nothing on the inner vertical pieces..

Thank you very much Bob, I went out to Autozone spent the $25 and did this to my sonic blue.

Here are some pics for the people that wanted to see it done in blue. Very easy mod, with great end results.

I tried it on mind, with some trim I bought on line,
and it was too dam small, the slit was real tight.

So I heated it a little with my torpedo heater and ended up
messing it up.

I need it with a little bigger slit.

any of you guys know the exact stuff to buy??????

I just want to cut it, and pres it carefully on.

The stuff I tried after I heated it, I still had to force it on,
and it was hard to do and wavy......

then the chrome started bubbling from the heat.

thanks guys.

I would like to get it on line if possible.

it has 2 nuts holding it on from the rear. 10mm i think. you'll have to move some plastic outta the way, reach in there and get it... it's pretty easy

still no white L pics with this mod? I'm beginning ot hink no one has done it yet. I bought the trim the day after Bob's original post but wanted to see it ahead of time. Since that won't seem to happen, I'll be doing this mod this week as the guinea pig.

Neither mod requires the removal of the Ford Emblem. The SVT decal is a stick-on decal that applys over the original emblem.

The chrome tape mod does not require the emblem to be removed!

Also added a new decal on the rear!
