I run a full can of Torco with each 20 gal. fillup. This should give a 4 Octane point boost whick equals 95 here in California.

I'm running a Sal tune with 20* and have yet to hear any pinging.

Octane Booster

I have not used Torco, but most octane booster refer to increases in octane by tenths, not full points. To get a safe, sure increase in octane, mix in Toluene. You can get it at paint stores, and if I remember right, it is 114 octane. It is safe and used widely in race fuel mixes and is actually present in pump gas.

I am sure Torco contains Toluene, among other things but the product is called "Torco Mach Series Accelerator", Unleaded and is made by Torco Racing Fuels.

So how much boost do you run with that timing and Torco?
