I'm getting ready to have my DG Motorsports hood scoop painted. I'm going to have it painted silver (same as the body)...

But do you guys have any suggestions for the "opening" that really isn't an opening. It is fiber glassed over. Should I just leave it black? Or have some type of screen print painted on there to make it look like mesh. Any opinions?

 

Open it up and make it functional.
