I was just wandering what kind of horsepower gains i would see if i put an aftermarket throttle body on my truck? Also can you get your stock one ported or is it better to go with one such as the accufab single blade?

 

Don't waste your money on one until you get almost all the bolt ons. It's not worth it until you get in the 425+RWHP range IMHO. Even then it's probably not worth 5-10RWHP at most.

 

what other bolt on mods do u recomend? i am ordering a set of traction bars this week because i blew out my driveshaft on sat du to bad wheel hop.

 

also do you think an electric fan is worth it?

 

a ported blower should do you some good.it goes great with a pulley

 

along with the ported supercharger what else can i do to get into the mid to low 12's. how safe is it to use nitrous?

 

SVTPETE, I can tell you that right now if you got some traction bars, you can hit high 12's. I went from 13.2 with a 2.1 60ft to 12.8 with a 1.8 60ft with just lakewood traction bars, so get some traction bars, port the blower and get an updated tune and you should be right there all day long brotha.......
