What pulley? 2 or 4 lower

I have 2001 lightning mods are C@L true flow plenum , spacer C@L power tube. I also have moded air box with the air duct from under front of truck with K@N FILTER . I also have Magnaflow mid pipes with high flow cats and Magnaflow cat back. Does anybody know about how much HP with current mods. And then with 2 or 4 and a GOOD TUNE ?

I'm no expert, but I will tell you that with the addition of a pulley the gains will be significantly more.

I'd say the C&L alone will net you ~10 rwhp and ~15 torque.

a 4lb/chip will typically net you ~30-35 hp and about the same torque (at least mine did...)

but I'd say the plenum + C&L + 4lb/tune will net you close to 50 HP/50 or so torque...maybe more

if anyone has some more solid numbers lemme know!

-Mike

P.S. exhaust will net you dang near nothing....5-10 at MOST

The key is a solid tune, but I would say 415 o 420 give or take, I went through this before, 2 pound vs. 4 pound, go with the 4 you won't be sorry.

you can buy a 2#, BUT WITHIN 6 MONTHS you'll upgrade to a 4#.
then a year later you'll have your eaton ported.
the next year you'll add a 6#.

Three things you need to do:

1) 4 # lower

2) Have your blower ported

3) get it tuned on a dyno

I agree, be sure to get a quick change lower so you can switch out pulleys when you feel like it.

tuning the 95mm MAF is a PITA..

Contact your tuner BEFORE you purchase it and see what they have to say.
They may ask you to get the flow chart and tables for the MAF so they can tune it right.

basically a PITA, and not needed.

If you max the voltage on the 90mm MAF, then you should upgrade to a SCT version, They are capable of handing an incredible amount of air flow and are manufactured by the same company that produces the OEM version.

not some cheap copycat company

hell go both lol i have a 4 lb lower 2 lb upper c&l true flow and intake, 95 mm mass air have to send my chip back to reburn for the 2lb upper but when i drove it man it was wicked faster still waiting on mike to change my plugs lol o and i heard good things about porting the eaton mike (red03svt) won't stop talking about me taking off my 2lb upper and porting it instead. if i was you i would get the 4lb and port the eaton. o and about the 95mm i heard that the 99,00 models can go up to the 95mm but the 01's and upcan only go to 92mm just somthing i heard could be true or false

Everyone told me to go with the 4 and i was terrified so i went with the two. I think it was on there for like the last month of the season, ...........got into the 12's with it, then went to a 4.

I have been trying to make the 2lb vs 4lb decision over the past month and after reading these posts, I think I'll go with the 4.

depending on how aggressive the tune is, anywhere from a 12.4-12.7 would be my guess
