Upper Control Arm Bushings

Anyone try and have the oem bushing pushed out of the stock upper control arms and have energy suspesion ones installed?

I want to do this soon and get the ball joints switched out of the upper and lower control arms to TRW ball joints.

Anyone have a set of oem upper control arms they would like to sell? Please email me. Thanks

I plan on sending a used set of Western Chassis lowers and oem uppers to the powdercoaters soon.

The company is run by abunch of retards. Once the uppers and lowers are powdercoated black and new TRW ball joints are install all will be better.

Next project will be to fab and weld a upper adjustable control arm.

Check my gallery. I did this a couple of years ago. I used ProThane brand. Should be the same.

Not sure you can GET the UCA ball joint out... and it certainly
doesn't look amenable to a replaceable one like the DJM arms.

I have a stock set of UCA's sitting here that are junk ...

FORD replaces the entire UCA when the ball joints fail, so
you get new bushings at that time. (50K miles or so)

The comparison to the stock arms and the
DJM arms is Day and Night. The DJM just
could use some tweaking on the fitment and
the welding (VERY SHODDY!!!!)

Cliff

PS... email me an address and I'll send you the stockers to play with.

PPS ... While you're under there replace the tie rod ends with the Moog's ... Very Beefy ... and they have a grease fitting
