Small issue last night

I was travelling along at about 45 mph at about 15% tps and pushed the accelerator to probably 75% quickly expecting a down shift... Well it didn't down shift and the truck felt like it missed a little and I heard a slight "pop, pop, pop" in the exaust for about 1 second... I let off the gas for about 5 seconds and did the exact same thing and it down shifted and took off... It hasn't done it since and I drove for about 50 miles after it in all sorts of driving styles to try and recreate the incident, but it didn't happen again... Any ideas? spark plug blow out? tranny or valve body prob? I have no idea... Any ideas will be appreciated.

It didn't happen at all today either... One time weird thing maybe?

The small pop sound was kinda like the same sound as when a vehicle is way too rich at idle, if you know what I am talking about.

Also, it was coming from the exaust and not the engine...
