anyone know where to get a rear end cover?

anyone know where to get a rear end cover?

hello guys, I was wondering if anyone kows who sells a rear end cover? I was told to stay away from teh chrome one since they hold heat, is this correct?

I don't know about the chrome holding heat, but most of the chrome covers seem to be low quality and really offer no benefit other than looks. Otherwise, try:

The chrome ones leak, and will end up rusted. Stay away from them. The others are fine.

I also saw the one that JLP got on his web site. Its a power coat Rear-end cover for only $59.99. Think this is a good deal?

a temp sensor plug
ccoling fins
holds a little extra fluid

wonder what the "buy it now" price would be?

It looks to me like a stock cover, just powder coated. They are nice looking, though. I guess it depends on what you are wanting to get from it. Just a nicer look?

rear end size for the L ?

Does anyone know which size or model number for the rear end cover? I seem dana 44, 60, 70 and etc......but not sure which one fits.................

There's a guy on ebay that polishes stock covers and sells them. They're new from Ford and not from junked trucks. He also offers ceramic painted ones as well. I think he offers 9.75 inch covers though. He does 'em in his free time so I'm not sure how often he has stuff in stock. Friend of mine bought a polished EGR tube from him and looked very nice.

The rear end is a Ford 9.75".
