Unhappy Lost boost..

I don't know if it's b/c of my milage (105,000 miles) but seems that I've lost boost somehow? My truck has been feeling sluggish for a while and i decided to rump on it today and watch my boost gauge to see how much i was making.. I have an autometer boost gauge and under WOT its only reading right under 10lbs of boost. Before when I first put on my 4lb lower along with the chip the gauge was definitely reading past 10lbs.. Could someone tell me what could cause you to lose a bit of boost? Tune up, etc? I know a lightning with a 4lb lower pully, CAI, chip should definitely be making 10 or more pds of boost..I know for sure my truck was stronger when it did.. I haven't had a tune up in a while so could that cause this?? thanks!!

BTW for some that remember me this is Rayden's CLoud... I haven't been on the board for a while.. Also want to say hey to everyone

I'd bet your belt is slipping. You could try a new Gates belt or our new Idler Bracket that adds a third idler under the blower pulley. The bracket adds another 45 degrees of belt wrap around the blower pulley and will stop any belt slippage. Sal at PSP has them in stock if you are interested.

leaning more toward this and belt slipage.. How can you tell that oil is caked in the intercooler? Also it does seem into 1st 2nd shift that the belt is slipping a bit..

Pull the blower, pull the intercooler assy, then hold it up to a light, it's a lot of work, but with the miles that you have, there's a good chance that it's caked with oil.
