Anybody out there run a 2.77 upper pulley w/ stock lower? If so are you using the stock belt or is a smaller belt recomended?

I would recomend a aux idler belt tensioner to increase belt wrap then you can keep the stock belt

 

I run a 2.7 upper w/stock lower and stock idler. I have never noticed any belt slipage whatsoever. However, I don't do any drag racing either. It pegs out the factory boost guage so I assume it's produces about 11 or possibly 12psi with the cai and chip I have as well. May add a a 4# lower in the future...not sure! It's plenty fast enough for a 60 year old the way it is now!
