L Weight

I have an 04 Heritage f150 brochure and inside it lists the 4x2 shortbox base curb weight at 4007 lbs.

So can someone explain to me why a Lightning weighs ~4700 lbs?

thanx

A base vehicle usually has very few options. That optional V-8 with the blower, intercooler, multiple radiators, air conditioning, power windows, leather power seats, and the rest of the creature comforts do add up. Those Lightning wheels and tires alone add 70 pounds over the base wheel and tire combo.

HI!... It's easy to explain : It's a typo. I don't even think a 4x2 , v6, manual XL weighs that. I have a fully loaded 4x2 XLT SPORT and it weighed in at about 4600LBS when new. I have lightened it up quite a bit over the last 6 months and it still weighs in at over 4200LBs.
