$1 freakin' 90 and change. Man I am glad I won mine last week for a small fee of $114(yeah right). I though it was more but must have forgotten with other people throwing down some serious scratch and said it was more.
Did some people read this thread and think it was a contest of who will actually pay the most?
Must make the big cash.

hey guys...

that "clear" material he is using to cover up the yellow is the material from flouresent (sp) lights. It is the cover of the entire lightning unit.

it is this covering material
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...863761153&rd=1

How do I know?
I use to make these then I had my avenger.

Here is the BEFORE, with the stock Yellow turn signals.

I unbolted them, put them in the oven, baked them, softened the glue, removed the Yellow cover, threw it away and added the clear Covering from a florescent lightning fixture.

AFTER

With the Lightning, do the same thing.
put the lense in the oven until the glue is soft, remove the lense, remove the yellow piece, replace it with a the covering, and glue it back together.

How much are stock corners? I might try it just to see if it can be done.

I find it amazing that some folks are willing to pay that much money for clear plastic corners.

I guess it is considered dues for the "Groovy Tie Club"...LMAO.

Great minds think alike...LOL. These things have to be available somewhere besides that Ebay link. I will give up any sources I find to the group if you will.

new ones up

alright. a new one is up on ebay. i placed a bid already so if anyone wants them worst than i do (more than $70) than good luck. i figure that eventually someone will find out where this guy is getting them (i've searched for countless hours looking already) or eventually i will win or someone else will start producing them. if someone else is going to bid next time or wants to try to get them cheaper... i won't bid that time.

Someone actually paid 190 bucks for the set that ended tonight!!!

I can just see this guy, packing the box as he laughs at Lightning owners. I have searched all over the darn place and come up with nothing. Hopefully you can get them for a reasonable price, but I would not be surprised to see a bid suddenly pop up from someone new. This guy is not going to let the price stay low, even if he has to bid from one of his other aliases to get the ball rolling.

Heck, you can't blame him. He buys these things for about 11 bucks and turns them for 190??? That's better than selling drugs.

Good Luck to you,

Rocks

You know,
I never really looked at it good. That's the way it came from the dealer. I'll have to check it out tonight.

There's a thread on SVTP http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...d.php?t=148341 related to the same issue. Make sure you post there that you've placed a bid.

I find it a bit odd that someone immediately bid your price right up to the 70 bucks you said you would go....then they stopped bidding.

I suspect the Revotec fellow is watching these threads now.

Either he has a shill bidding you guys up....or there is a real azzhole from one of the forums you made the post from.
