has it ever been done ? i thought i read a post along time ago that some one was doing a built motor with 4 valve heads.if not how about a crate 04 cobra motor in our trucks ?

However, It would be interesting to see what RPM you cross the line with, given that the Cobra Motor can turn higher RPM's.
(all gearing and tranny being the same that is)
our motors can make as much as the cobra , but you have to build the bottom end and alot more work, a test done on one of the cobra crate the eaton at 8.4 psi makes 501hp still alot more room on these motors to increse the boost with out touching the bottom end .dec. issue of supper rod ..

Stock 2V heads on an L flow 180ish CFM, fully worked flow 220-230cfm.
Stock 4V heads flow 240-250CFM.. Worked 4V heads flow well past 300CFM.
A 5.4 is going to outperform a 4.6 given the same modifications.
Thier are cobra guys at 850RWHP with 22-24lbs of boost with a turbocharger. How many ALL Boost lightnings make 850RWHP???
