Where to find this E-Fan

Hey do you guys know what cars i can find the Motorcraft RF-86 electric fan. I believe its 18", 2 speed. Im about to make my own electric fan and i was wondering what cars i could salvage one from. Or even where i could get one online. Thanks!

i got mine at www.rockauto.com for a decent price. otherwise, look in newer mustang gt's

I've been thinking about doing the same, making my own electric fan kit. I used to own a 96 'Vette, and let me tell you that the dual fan setup in that car was impressive. It's compact, and pulls a ton of air. I'm doing to scour the junkyards to find a fan setup off a 92-96 'Vette. Might get away with a cheap purchase.

you can get them relatively chepa if you know someone who is an employee of ford, use the employee discount

Derek94 - check out Mike Dunn's site http://www.madenterprise.com/ He's got the fans, the electric controlers. All you need to start this project. He's a good dude and his kits are cool.
