It's EXTREMELY hard to see your pride and joy in piece's, with fluids leaking out, : o (
everything disconnected, unpluged, NOT THERE "YIKES"...
But I know it's going to back BETTER THAN NEW and this is the first step.

I have a question: Why the performance oil pump?

Are the clearances going to be greater or the RPM higher?

I have read in engine articles about to much oil washing the bearing or something. I can't remember where? I know there is a relief spring to dump excess oil but was just wondering if there was a specific other than cheap insurance at teardown.

You better whip me by 10 truck lengths and 2 sec with all that money you'll have in your truck. Because IF you don't, you'l never be able to show your face around here again
