Muffler choice?

Muffler choice?
Time for a new sound on my L. Seems like a lot of people favor the Magnaflow. My concern is that it may sound like a Borla, which I don't like - too raspy.
I've always used Dynomax Super Turbos on my cars, including my 'Vette I just sold. Deep, powerful tone without a ton of resonance.
Both Dynomax and Magnaflow make a 2-inlet 2-outlet muffler that will fit. Any opinions? Seems like dual mufflers are out since there's not much room...

Dual mufflers will work. Magnaflow offers two systems... twin and single. The big hitters in the exhaust are Bassani and Magnaflow. You will not be disappointed with the Magnaflow system... not too bad. If you really want loud, then you can sub in the magnapack mufflers in the Magnaflow system.
Pricing... Bassani is most expensive, and then Magnaflow is about 30% less.
Don' try the Flowmaster or Borla route.... over the years many have tried and junked them. Also, you will not see any power increase out of this... in fact, you may loose power since you are reducing back pressure.

The two mufflers are in there next two each other - long part of the oval is up and down. Search for Superfords on here and look in his galleries... he has many pictures of the dual muffler system. Some don't spend the extra $$$ to get the dual set up. I like the sound far better than the single set up.

I went with 2 Dynomax/Thrush glasspacks. $40 for the pair.
As I understand it, there just straight pipes with some x-tra junk inside to keep the reaspy-ness to a minimum.
I don't regret it at all. I'm still fairly new out of college and tried this for a temporary setup, but I have no reason to switch yet.
BTW I cannot spell and don't care who knows it.

You can get the Magnaflow catback shipped to your door for well under $400. They fit nicely, dont interfere with traction bars (if you ever go that route) like some other catbacks do, dont rust, sound nice, and tips look great.
As soon as you see how nicely those tips fill up the side exhaust well in front of that rear tire - you'll really see how ugly those thin factory pipes were (as well as many times hang at a low, odd angle, etc). They're easy to keep clean, too.
