I can't believe I went out in the snow and measured my 04 pipe diameter for you.
I have a Bassani and measured the OD in front of the X pipe.

Why don't you just measure your own?

EZGZ - thanks a bunch! I tried measuring mine by the eyeball and tape measure method, but it's hard to tell the difference between a 1/4". I sure appreciate it!

I think my setup sounds pretty kickass, if I must say so myself-- 2 Flowmaster 10 Series single chamber mufflers with an H-pipe. Probably not what I would have picked myself (was previous owner's choice) without hearing it first, but just the right balance and not the normal Flowmaster drone you get with other series systems. they are the tiny "race mufflers". Here's a pic:
