Unhappy Factory tune restore on the predator?

I restored my factory tune today and now when i went to put my new custom tune on instead of reading "Custom Tune" it now gives me a list of options. Did I loose my custome tune? if not how do i get it back.

If you did an actual "restore", that means you reset the Predator, as if it was never used. If you had a custom tune on it, it's gone. You just need to re-upload the custom tune from your PC that was e-mailed to you by your tuner.

Thanks i did restore the factory tune and im sure it reset everything. The bad thing is i had to send my predator in to jlp for a new tune for the 5# pulley i installed last night. This is the tune i erased. Im using a mac and i donot believe that there is a program for it but my friend will probably let me use his computer. Do u think jlp will send me a new one?

I'm sure JLP has your tune on file. I get some MAC customers send me Preds to load tunes on for the same reason. I was told that there is actually a program for the MAC, that lets you run a windows program. I think it's called Vware or something like that. Maybe look into that first so you don't have mail it in again. Hope this helps.

NO! Do NOT use any of the factory loaded tunes. You will be safer driving the truck on the stock tune than with any of the loaded ones.

Connectix Virtual PC will work on the MAC's. Looking at Apples website, I don't see any current MAC's with serial ports though. Maybe a USB to Serial interface would work.

If you did not buy the Pred from us, it's $100 for the first tune, and then $30 for each tune after that. I don't charge for "adjustments" to tunes if any are needed.
