Santa Mark Claus From LFP and I were chatting the other day about EXHAUST!! And I decided to ask Santa Mark to send me some replacements for my Cats..So low and behold I must of been a good boy cause I ordered them WED the 15th and have them here already the 17th!!!

WOW MARK UNBELIEVABLE!! Totally impressed..this guy can ship!! and can deliver...I didnt know this was even available..I so happy..

Is a lowlife POS that takes your money and runs.

Ok, so he had your exhaust drop shipped for you.. woo hoo!!!

He has cheated so many Gen1 guys that its ridiculous, and to top it off he holds on to your money for months and months.

Mark sits in an office and pushes papers and makes phone calls, he has no shop or his own warehouse, he is a drop shipper and copier of others parts. Name one part that he made all on his own.

and yes im pissed because he has owed me 700 for almost two years now.

Welcome to the world of mail order. I've had good luck with LFP. One slow ship on a group buy, but I can understand that.

Everyone needs to follow a few rules to not get screwed...
1. Pay with a credit card
2. Don't let the vendor blow smoke for month after month. Cancel the order. If they already charged the card, call and dispute it..
3. If the part comes wrong and the vendor is not rectifying the situation, dispute the charge.
4. Document everything. Save emails. Record phone calls

I guarandamntee that Mark probably has as good a good transaction to bad transaction ratio as anyone that supplies parts to anyone.

I for one find your situation hard to believe and feel that there is more than likely more info that you are choosing to exclude. I have had many transactions with Mark and have yet to be dissapointed.

Who cares if he is a drop shipper? If he can still make enough money for himself and offer some of the prices he does, great for him.

I think it is a joke that everyone makes fun of the hot dog vendors, mushroom farmers, and good word spreaders that sell parts. Honestly, what is the big deal?

It is also funny how many of the disgruntled members now are people that have been registered for a month and the few posts that have made have only been to complain.

I just had a recent transaction with Mark. I bought 58" torque bars. I go to do the install in my garage. I get to the last bolt and put it in. I start the nut. The lock nut was over torqed when the manufacture pressed the nut. The nut will go one two threads, then lockd up. Damb, i'm bent. So I call Mark and he shipped me a new one in two days. Now I'm happy!!!!!

This is the first time I delt whith him:
The price was right, the service was their, the qaulity was top notch, and now I'm finally happy.

Mark will hear from me again for future orders (eyeing the Heat Exchanger, 4lbs Lower kit, and D.S. loop next)

Mark can expect business from me again in the future!!!

 

Everybody has good and bad dealings with vendors. Yes some are better than others. You just have to do your research. For example, using these boards. I got flamed on SVT Performance because I thought a product that a vendor is selling to people is POS. Yet, since he is a authorized vendor, you can't give your opinion on products. So you would see that and it would send a flag up. You just have to sift through the information. You have to call more than one vendor. Check to see if he is really paying attention to the customer(you). Document everything and pay with a credit card so you can dispute it if you don't receive your product or get a faulty product. Now give the benefit of the doubt to people that no one is perfect, also. Vendors do make mistakes as long as they take action to fix them.

 

I have always had great dealings with Mark. I've had other vendors that never email back or call. I tend not to make posts for or against vendors but I thought I'd post something nice about Mark.

I personally haven't bought anything from Mark but I asked him a question and he answered it within one day. As soon as I can put some money together, I'm sure I'll be spending some with him.

 

I have bought a few parts from Mark on a couple different occasions, he was very easy to deal with on the phone and very helpful, the shipping was absurdly fast, got my parts before the end of the week usually. He even threw in a tool that I was missing for a pulley that I ordered from another vendor, for FREE, he is a good guy in my book.

Ive bought my exhaust and some suspension stuff from Mark at LFP and had it on my doorstep 72 hours after making the phone call. He offers quality products at great prices, shipped quickly. Thats why he will continue to get my business. I just placed an order this week for a set of 58" Traction Bars, and the only reason I dont have them yet is that he sent them to get powdercoated red to match my L. And I bet when they get here I'm going to be happy I chose his products again.

To the guy that posted about the bad experience, sorry to hear about your situation. I haven't heard of this being a common occurrence with Mark's service.

And who gives a ***** if he hasn't MADE any L products. Give me a break Mark has another business that he runs and does the L stuff on the side and still sells stuff WAY cheaper than other vendors. I'll stop here because I don't want to **** off others that use the OTHER vendors

LFP has approx. 3 thousand feet of warehouse space, fabrication shop, offers installation and does machine work in house for Eaton porting. To name just a few.
DO you really believe this much product is drop shipped from all over the country just for LFP. You must not know much about business at all if you do. LFP has more to offer than all the other venders combined

Meet Jack Schitt
Jack is the only son of Awe Schitt and O. Schitt, and he has an interesting family tree:


In 1957, Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc.


They had one son, Jack.


Jack Schitt grew up and married Noe, and together Jack and Noe Schitt produced 6 children:


Holie Schitt (who came to be known as "The Lucky Schitt")
Fulla Schitt
Shineola (who didn't really have the Schitt Face)
Giva Schitt
Bull Schitt (who really looked like Schitt, the father),
and the twins: Dip Schitt and Deap Schitt.


Dip Schitt was not very bright, and was known as "The stupid Schitt", and she married Dumb Schitt, a high school drop out who happened to share the same last name (no relation, however). Friends affectionately nicknamed them "The Schitts". Their marriage produced no little Schitts.


The other twin, Deap Schitt, went on to build a deodorant empire, which became famous for it's slogan: "Smell Like Schitt". Jack was depressed at losing Noe, but he, too, remarried a nice lady named Loda. The blushing bride, Loda Schitt, produced a son of nervous disposition, whom they named Chicken Schitt.


Jack and Loda went on to produce two more boys, Krappy Schitt and Ugglee Schitt.


These athletic brothers, Krappy and Ugglee, married the stunningly beautiful Happens Sisters in a dual ceremony.


The "Schitt-Happens" Wedding was a huge affair, and this union also produced many offspring:
Dawg Schitt
Byrd Schitt
Hoarse Schitt
and Pigh Schitt


But once again, Jack lost his love for his wife, and left to tour the world. He recently returned from an extended visit to Italy with his newest bride, Pisa.


Presently Jack Schitt and his 3rd wife, Pisa Schitt, are living without children in New Jersey on property which contains a stream of water, now known to the locals as "Schitt Creek."

I've dealt with Mark, on a few occasions over the years, and have never had one problem. You can't make everyone happy all of the time; but, most of the time, LFP comes pretty damned close.
