I HAD Mac.

I think they have the best SHAPED tips. The older ones rust. The new ones are S/S. The sound was deep to say the least.

I ended-up replacing my old rusting Mac's with a Magnaflow cat-back. I also like the sound better. With longtubes and a mids...WOW what a perfect sound for an L.

I love the Macs. I've got the new ones with the s/s tips. Nice tone, nice tips, nice price. I can't wait to get midpipes and see what they sound like then.

What's the deal with Jumping on the last three or so posts involving JDM and having something negative to say. You got the First version of the Silver bullet with aluminized pipes now they are all stainless. If there is anything I do not know about email me a contact number for you or call the shop.

Just trying to help people out.
Parts for these trucks are expensive for most people... any input that can be provided about the integrity of the part, manufacturer, and vendor are all valuable pieces. The viewers of these posts then can make an informed decision.

Also, I am just tired of the JDM bandwagon. It truly is the K-Mart of the Lightning aftermarket. Glad to say, I don't shop at K-Mart.

So I guess what you are saying is that you are better then the people who shop at major department stores. Most of our customers do shop at Wal-Mart, I do believe K-Mart is out of buisness. When I met you at Bristol, TN over the Summer you and Mark Shook my hand and said there were no problems. So I do not see much of you on the boards and then the last 3-4 days you come up here bashing JDM. So I am only going to ask you this once: What is your direct problem with JDM, and why would you shake my hand and say that there is no problems? You know and I know JDM has the most catbacks out there of any other brand with very few complaints. There are two that comes to mind, one is yours which is your tail-pipes going rusty. For the past four years we have installed hundreds of Silverbullets and when trucls come in here even there factory stainless steel pipes are rustydue to the type of stainless steel they use. Since you live in a snow state like Ohio you should wash the salt off the underneath of your truck or the Tail-pipes will not be the only things that rust, I know that is what we do here in NJ. Now our Tail tips are 304 Stainless the best you can get. Be a man and honor your word.

I think Bassani would have a problem with your above statements. I think they are the most popular and best bang for the buck exhaust, not only for your gen2 crowd, but us gen1s as well.

your saying that your system is t304 from front to back? or is it just the tips?

stock tips are ceramic i believe.

later.

lol ... gotta love a good post turned bad.

Jim, if yah haven't noticed.... I don't think KMart itself....has anything to do with what he was trying to say. Also I didn't take that as "vendor bashing", just expressing his opinion.

If he had said the MAC cat back was a P.O.S, would you have chimed in? Would anyone, seeing as how a direct representative from MAC doesn't frequent here?

Just something to think about, gotta let some roll off your shoulder and quit acting rediculus on the forums defending your company on a ignorant post like that.

Oh and Cobra 93, as Jim stated any chrome or SS tips not properly cleaned and taken care off will in the long run end up rusting or corroding. The damn things get nailed by everything in the road.... it just happens regardless of the brand.
