Yellow Lightning

does anyone have a picture of a yellow lightning? Im sure somebody has done this before....

id love to paint my L yellow, but dont have the $$ too right now... but it is something Id like to do in the future one day...

so just a ballpark figure, I know something like this can prolly varry... but "about" what would it cost to change the L from black to yellow?? im not talking having some jesse james guy paint it... but not maaco either.... just a nice good paint job

Yes it is. I've seen it in person at the now closed Ontario Truck Plant.

There was actually 1 production yellow Lightning. It was used as a test vehicle around the plant. They sold it a year or so ago if I remember right. (with a new engine and tranny, the firsts were blown!) The second picture just might be that one, but not sure. They should have made it a production color for the L's.

there is a Ext-Cab Yellow Lightning test mule as well. (searches for those pics)

I'm guessing the truck was sold with no warranty... Yellow must be the color for the beaten, abused, overtested mules!

At least your starting off with a black truck, black and yellow go good (black under hood and in bed still vs. white, red, silver, blue etc)

I think if they had made the yellow lightning, it would have been the most dominant colour. Yellow is truly Beautiful!!
