I've seen on the road by me several times either an "L" or a F-150 (never close enough to be sure) painted yellow with black racing stripes - and it is a real "eye " catcher - a real "head turner!"

 

They made 2 yellow RCs at the plant. One stayed there and was eventually sold. The other went to engineering for use as a possible "theme" truck but ended up being used as a durability vehicle and finally scrapped.

Actually, the second truck was stolen just before it was scrapped. Someone took it for a joy ride and left it on the streets of Detroit. It wasn't good for much else, the durability route had trashed it.

 

First one is a shop, pretty good whoever did it.

That one was for sale here in the UK a while back, i was interested but he wanted too muich for it, about $50k in UK money, the equilivent standard would have been $35k or so.

Another pic of it, to me it the flip doesnt do the truck justice, looks too dark unless in the right light

 

ive seen a yellow lightning. i think it might be fake though, and its kinda riced out. yellow flames on the windows, extremely low, ugly chrome rims.
