Shocks

I recently lowered my truck with the Ground Force 1-2'' drop kit. The ride is not to bad, but a little rough for my taste. What are some good shocks for my set-up? I mainly want it to ride a little smoother. Thank you!

i dropped mine 1.75" in the front with Ruslow springs. i used the hotchkiss bilsteins. i think they are slightly underdampened (is that a word?) but should work well with the eibach springs.

did you change the bumpstops also?

I don't think that anything will smooth out the ride. In my experience, the springs are what is causing the harshness. Looser shocks will just make the handling worse without really giving you a softer ride.

YMMV.

Oh, then what kind of springs would soften it up a little?

Eibachs will provide the Buick-like 'ride' you seek. Just don't enthusiastically toss it into a corner because it will respond accordingly and with less than desireable results.
