Just use common sense and dont go WOT for a few hundred miles. Or simply take off the blower belt and drive it like that. It will be PIG SLOW but safe.
Why did you blow your stock other block? Are you putting on the same mods as before? If so I'd say dont. Put a 4# lower on it instead and get a new safe tune.

Oh you'll be fine. Just don't get into the boost for the first 100 or so miles and try to vary the engine speed too.

Then up around 500miles change the oil and then hammer time.

ya i was planning on puttin on the same mods, really all it was was cat back, intake, 6# pulley, and D. preditor. i dont have much choice on anything i dont have the stock stuff. also, will our trucks really run right w/o the blower belt on? i might consider that if it works...

i was cruzin at around 70 on highway 8 inbetween az and ca and i matted the gas to pass some one and i had it at wot up till about 135 and i heard a loud boom, and then i cleared the freeway out with more white smoke out the tail pipe than i have ever seen! like im talking the cars behind me had zero visibility while i costed to a stop, they must have had to slow down to like 10mph, when i was stopped there was oil all along the bottom of my truck, it was done. i towed it from outside of Yuma to Pheonix and the ford dealership there got a better look at the motor. we the top of a piston wedged in my front suspention and pices of the block everywhere...worst day of my life!

Get a set of rods and pistons put in the new block while you have a chance. You won't have to worry about repeating your recent smoke screen experience then !!
